Back to School Deals: Apple Offers Free Beats Headphones

The word on the street is that Back to School deals are getting sweeter. In the $27 billion dog-eats-dog Back to School market, retailers seem to be literally throwing the discount kitchen sink at American consumers. The latest salvo comes from Apple. In a move set to shake the retail market, Apple is offering free Beats by Dr. Dre headphones valued at $300 for any purchase of an Apple Mac or Ipad Pro.

Apple’s offer is targeted at schools from K-12 to Universities. All students, parents, Parent Teacher Association members, school board members, faculty and staff are eligible. Here’s how it works;
Buy any one of: iMac, Mac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air, or iPad Pro
Get any one of: Beats Solo3 Wireless On Ear Headphones valued at $299.95, Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones  valued at $199.95 or BeatsX Earphones valued at $149.95


Apple’s iPad Pro starts at $649 while iMac and Mac model prices start from about $800 to $1000 and more, depending on specific versions. Promotion period starts from July 12, 2017 and ends on September 25, 2017. Offer is only available in the United States and at participating Apple Stores.

 Now discount battle lines have been drawn. In this Back to School deal and sales war, we shall see if other big stores will return fire with even bigger Back to School discounts.
